Week 32

Anyway back to business and a pretty nice week for me by all accounts:

This week took me over the £2k barrier so pretty pleased all in all, and anything over £50 is a good result as far as I'm concerned. I broke the £1K barrier after 18 weeks and the £2K barrier after 15 weeks so I'm speeding up a little

I had a little bit of housework to do this week as I had a few WR's that I just had hanging around that needed completeing before I could withdraw. Bet24 and Betclic being the main ones, so I had to hunt around a lot during the week to try and empty these accounts without to much loss. I managed this for a quid or two loss. Its always worth doing a bit of housekeeping and cleaning these accounts out. I wasn't able to do many of the will hill bogofs due to a wedding, but still nibbled away at a couple. Also lost a £5 "adhoc" SNR from Will hill as it expired on today, which I thought meant I had today to use it, not that it expired yesterday at 00:01 (something to remember). First ever trebble bet on Victor gave me some new experience nd a bit of profit. I couldn't hunt around for great odds on the freebet as I was out in the evening so only nailed a small profit. I had £70 sitting in Jaxx for a while during the non-footie season (thought I saw an arb and stuck 70 notes in there) couldn' withdraw, so did a couple of small loss bets which gave me enough points to make £4 out of them. A couple of other bits not listed below mus have made it up to £73. (60p cashback for example)

Week 22

Right then... Week 22

A nice week, scattered with a major mistake, inline with the diary name more of that in a second. This went well:

All started very nicely indeed finished up victor chandler's last £25 free bet and made around £18. Then managed to pull out a profit on the casino chips on the game "red dog". I'm becoming quite the little casino player, even read the rules on this one. Managed to withdraw £26 from the £25 free casino bonus after meeting the WR. Was tempted to carry on as this game can see you win £8-10 very quickly. But stuck to my ways and £26 is very nice.

Then came the mistake of the week. A qualifier on with BetUK - a £50 qualifier at that... I'm not sure if it is a pro's place ot check odds but I use odds.bestbetting.com from time to time to find nice horse odds. The way in which I work often means checking 5-10 different races for matching odds, a bit laborious to be honest but often results in good odds or "micro arbs". Back on topic - I found a pretty nice match on a race in 30mins at 4.5 v 4.8 and quickly bet and layed only £25ish. (I've played the waiting game with odds on horses a few times and more or less done ok from it by not being too greedy and getting in at a couple of clicks lower.) Anyway what I didn't realise was that I'd bet on a race that was delayed! I thought I had 30mins to go, then suddenly the odds started rising very quickly, I then looked across and saw that the race was "in play" - oh sh!t, and this race was a short race, managed to lay an extra £2 before it was all over. Of course, the horse I was backing lost. Net result = minus £21. Moral of story check the actual time before you bet (sounds obvious now I know...)

I got £17 back from bet UK on the free SNR...

Week 21

Well what can I say about Week 21 except awesome!

All started out with £40 cashback which put me off to a nice start. Then something quite incredible happened at Take A Break Bingo. I had £2.90 cash and £1.35 bonus. This had been built up from playing free scratchcards. Has TAB have now changed terms that you no longer get 10p a day cash, but put it into the bonus pot I decided to try and bust out (min withdraw £10). So I played 4 50p scratchcards and won £25! I quickly withdrew all my winnings, and decided to stick all £1.35 on the bingo. Went off to make a coffee and nearly fell off my chair when I returned and my balance was £132! - Very sweet!

This prompted me to take casino bounus' a bit more seriously. I have since read-up a little on casino bonuses and decided to give it a go. I had mixed fortune but overall I have done very well over it this week. I made a few stoopid mistakes that cost me and hurt bad, and if I have one piece of advise it is read Andy's forum signature and keep this in your mind all the time. Circus and Betfair Casino, taught me this lesson. Was ticking along nicely, got bored messed around with different bet sizes and was bust within 8 minutes.

A few sports book offers still ticking over bringing in a good steady stream of mooolah. I have certainly noticed that as my float grows I can worry less about going for higher odds and (often) better returns or closer matches. I'm also happy to tie up cash for a bit longer for a better return on arbs and such like.

Another good week by my standards at least.

All existing account offers - its now nice to see a good sustainable income from reloads alone. Many of these were for the FA cup, which I was very pleased to see Chelsea win. I have signed up with Victor Chandler, but this will be my task for next week. The real corker of the week, was Stan James Casino Chips, where they kindly gave me a £20 bonus this week rather than £10. Very kind of them.

A little bit late on this one. Just got a new laptop and forgot to move my records across before being out of the office and on the road for a few days.

Expekt, I signed - up and busted out of fantastically - very nice odds at this place.

Messed up the a William Hill Bogof a treat. First screw-up was due the system (or my incompetence) not placing the free bet but my cash! Thanks to the guys on chat (bella, gibber etc) I managed to only loose 3 quid on the whole thing. Quick tip, if you do William hill bogof then withdraw your balance to make sure you aren't betting your money. Managed to place £15 worth of bets on the live bet before I managed to crack their free SNR off. The second problem occurred when I rushed in from work and saw a bogoff for the European Cup final, thought it was the same night and dived in. Of course it was a day in advance and the odds were naff but I'd already bet -£1.20 on qualifier. Worst of all I was out the following evening with the missus so had no chance to use the freebie!


Finally I found a "monster" arb between paddy and SJ which gave me £3.44 profit from a stake of £96.98 (under/over if anyone is interested), and nicely qualified me for the casino chips!

On the Casino chips I made a cool £10.98 - thanks Norway!

Right, Week 18 a pretty good week all in all - a couple of dodgy moments but hey when isn't there!

All my numbers below are approximate, as I still have some qualifiers going and I'm not gonna list pence.

Finished my Blue Square qualifiers and freebies. Rule 4 hit me - I'm still absolutely clueless as to what this rule is all about or how to fix it (sure I know its when a horse pulls out) I could read, and perhaps I will now. It cost me around £4 in deductions. This is the 2nd time rule for has hit me in my Mbetting life, both have been negative - perhaps next time I'll benefit. Still it wasn't as serious as some of the "don't ever bet on horses" scary threads suggest.

I also seriously messed up the Man U v Arsenal Bogof. Managed to place 12 quids worth of bets before I managed to get the freebie on. By which time the odds were all over the place and with the good help of the cat board managed to fix most of it. Still came out around £4 down. Nearly worse as I thought the game was still in the first 1/2 but only had 18 minutes to go! Thanks to Gibber and Bella for helping me only loose a couple of quid. I was at one point tempted to just go outside and cut the hedge (thats hedge betting and see what happened at the end, if I'd done that I would have been £12 down. Note to self - withdraw all cash from Will Hill before tring to get the freebie on.

Bodog odds are shocking! That is all I have to say about that, other than my first ever bet on Tenis. Nice SR bonus though I need to collect the 2nd half next week.

Slow unproductive and depressing. 3 words to sum up the week.

I lost a £10 on a betclick reload so at one point looked like I may end down. Final figures are a rubbish £4.36

After 14 weeks of excitement I think I may have hit a wall, where the profit has just become numbers and the logistics has become a bore. Will try not to think like that, perhaps I've just had a bad week.

Ok so I'm back on it a little bit. I have had a nightmare week with the plumber who is now sacked off the job due to being rubbish at bathroom fitting. I have re-aligned my targets to try and be a little more realistic. I wanted to try and hit 10k by 2012, I think with the best will in the world this isn't really achievable. I've now settled to try and go for £150 a month - anything above and beyond is a bonus.

I had a rotten week last week, and have tried a little harder this week. Signed up for a new account - Betfred. Need to finish my McBookie sign-up, I was lucky I managed to get in just before they downgraded it to £10. In fact I didn't get to it in time but I emailed them and they kept it going for me.

What a week!

I don't think I will see a week like this ever again. William Hill was the real winner for me here and I made £78 from the sign up alone. I also had a proper result with B365 which gave me £150 on some enhanced odds! Amazing... This was somewhat dampened by a rule 4 loss of £20  with William Hill on what would have been a nice arb. Speaking of which I'm now getting into the odd arb - just dabling really to see what its all about, made a bit of money and lost a bit of money this week...

Also must remeber to back-up the spreadheet more often as it got corrupt and I had to reenter all the details.

Fantastic Week!

Bet365 readjusted the odds on a winner of the horses to add an extra 50 quid! Now it is Cheltenham I'm on to a good winner with William Hills and worked through a few on the £100 SNR. Also £25 cashback came through from the Gambling Times! All cool. A slightly downer note I spotted an arb but screwed up by betting and laying the wrong outcome (due to the draw and team b being in different spots for the bet.


I made £135 this week signed up to Jennings bet but will have to wait!

Ok mixed feelings about this week...

I had a major blow to the system with a around £52 loss on the profit total of last week. This was a big lesson for me and I have since been checking bets like a paranoid android.

The tail end of the week and the weekend went a little better. I completed another 2 Sunderland deals (1 to go) and signed up to betdaq. Also a good week on the free bingo scratch cards,

I have recovered from my shameful defeat at the hands of my own stupidity and I have a few bets on today.

Underlayed a little on a Qualifer for Chelsea at Villa so I hope the blue win - may even watch this game. This is for a new account at betdaq - very easy to find close odds, but commission at both ends doesn't make it that briliant.

Another qualifier with Sunderland - think it is my final WR for another 10er.

Finally I have made another £50 qualifier with B365 - double checked this one...

Not looking forward to the profit review tomorrow.

Never mind - I'm still profitable and I have learnt some lesons.

This presented me with £10 worth of casino money. The strategy on this one is to win a pound at a time and bet that off each time. Then lay the game at BF. Keep doing this till you bust out.

Won and bet £1 at a time up to £13.50

Put these pounds to work betting on a footie game 1.5 vs 1.5 odds. By the time I'd done the whole betting thing it was down to laying at 1.47. Will be out with a profit of £13.45 either way!

Hope SJ don't mind 13 small £1 bets - they might be on to me, oh well. The easiest winner I've come across.

Slow week coming up

Start of a new week and I have a couple of outstanding tasks. B365 I have to WR £250 to get the next £50 bet. This could take me a while as I'm not doing horses and finding close odds takes time.

Also have a Sunderlands £10 SNR free bet to do and another 50 WR to go through.

Gonna be a slow fairly low profit week I rekon.
